"My family & I (8 adults & 4 children--ages 4 to 11) spent the most WONDERFUL week at Villa Ocotal earlier this year. The accommodations were superb (plenty spacious & comfortable), the staff was as helpful & agreeable as we could have wished, the food was DELICIOUS, And the "major domo" Gabriel made himself very available to chauffeur us to various attractions in his van. There are fantastic beaches in the area (we didn't fish but a boat captain arrived one day offering to take us deep-sea fishing)--we visited a canopy zip-line, local rodeo, boatride into the rain forest, excursions into the small nearby town for native crafts, & to a spa with hot volcanic mud baths, All in all, it was a spectacular time! I hope this information is useful to you."

"What a great week!  Set on the hillside with dramatic views of the bay, Villa Ocotal provided the perfect setting for our vacation in Costa Rica.  Gabriel and his staff were very attentive and took great care of us.  Excellent food, cocktails in and around the infinity pool, optional tours for the adventurous, shopping trips, and lots of wildlife - we were captivated watching the monkeys in the trees behind the villa.  Just a few minutes walk to the beach and local bar with boat trips available.  What could be better - we'll be back, and we'll tell our friends."

"My family and I wanted to let you know that our vacation this past nine days at Villa Ocotal in Costa Rica was just amazing.  We were just so glad to get there and see that your place was just the way you had described to us on the phone and we got exactly what we also saw in your website.

Your staff at the villa were so kind, polite and helpful.  Gabriel is a sweetheart and a very honest man.  He made sure our stay was just perfect for our family and friends.  Carolina is a loving girl full of kindness and energy.  She also was friendly and very helpful, too.  Doris and Herman are just so wonderful.  our meals were delicious.  We all came back with some extra pounds.  Herman is a hard working guy, he made sure all the grounds at the villa were nice and clean, and made sure especially with all the kids that they were safe and comfortable.

Anyway, I can go on and on, all I have to say is Thank You to all of you for making it so wonderful and we will be back definitely.  After all, I myself will always be a "Tica".
